About Me

Chrissy Roig, owner of Dancing En L'air, is a Chicago native and Florida dweller since 2016. She's studied ballet and acrobatics as a child, spent some time as a competitive gymnast, and was active in community and school theatre productions. She went on to study dance at Western Illinois University and perform with the University Dance Theatre. Chrissy has been teaching dance since 2008 across Michigan, Illinois, and Florida in various styles including ballet, modern, musical theatre, tap, jazz, and acrobatics. Chrissy started teaching and performing on aerials in 2018, primarily working on silks and lyra. Chrissy also holds a MS in Artificial Intelligence and enjoys training her dogs in her free time. Chrissy has worked with children from 18 months up through adults and has an interest in safe stretching techniques and injury prevention.
